The 25 year old took to Instagram to reveal the news on Wednesday 20 March. In a statement shared with her 1.8million followers, Georgia wrote: “After seeing the reports regarding my relationship with Toby, I feel it’s only right for me to be transparent and truthful with you all.
“It is true Toby has called things off. It has taken me by complete surprise and I’m still trying to process it and come to terms with it all.”
She added: “They say some people are in your life for a lifetime and some just for a chapter," before ending the post with a single red heart emoji.
Georgia's split statement came after the reality TV star sparked speculation over her relationship status with a cryptic social media post.
She captioned the post: "When life gives you lemons we make lemonadeeeee," which prompted her fans to comment and ask her about her relationship status with Toby.
One wrote: "Are you and Toby broke up [broken heart emoji] ?" whilst another commented: “Did @tobyaromolaran and her break up?”
“Are u seeing Toby today?” asked a third.
Georgia and Toby, 25, previously dated before appearing on Love Island : All Stars, which kicked off in January and ended in February 2024. They rekindled their romance during the show, and ended up coming in fourth place.
In a recent interview with OK!Georgia said that she and Toby were still going strong, and that he was due to meet her family during a visit to her hometown of York.
However, she revealed that they were not yet officially a couple, telling us: “We haven’t had that discussion. We were in the situation of Love Island, which isn’t a normal situation, and in the real world you’re just, kind of, together. Toby knows I’m the kind of girl who would want to be asked. So, I’m waiting!”
She also spoke about the reality of having a long-distance relationship, as Georgia still lives in York, while Toby is currently based in London.
She explained: “We’re just still getting to know each other at the moment.
“We’ve both done Love Island previously and moved in together with our partners from then [Georgia with Sam Bird and Toby with Chloe Burrows] – and everything was really quick and intense.
“We’re a bit older now and both of us understand that we don’t really need to do that. If it’s going to work, it’s going to work. You don’t need to move in together straight away.”
